So, having joined this server on July 22nd 2012, I have now surpassed two years since joining the server..
In that time I have done many things, met many cool people who I now know far too well, I have been banned, I have been promoted etc, built towns, destroyed towns, pvped and helped with general suggestions..
Just to say: MY IN GAME NAME IS STHAMER!!!
Now, every anniversary thread needs a long list of shout-outs to complete it, this is not going to be like my one year thread, in which I wrote well over a thousand words, this thread shall be less eloquent but I feel it is still important to write about some people to show appreciation for them. Explanations:
I have played a lot of hours of League of Legends with Dan, and we even managed to make a player out of Feelthem1sery, m1sery on the other hand has always been the most sensible mod, and the most fair and unbiased person,w well done to you sir. TORNADOTOM50 being the longest serving mod on the server, I griefed him once (sorry) he has been a good person and mod for as long as I can remember.
2vrsable was my first actual friend on this server, he joined on June the 30th of the same year, meaning he has been here a little longer before me, congratulations on your two years, Mod_masta joined the server a long long time ago but was apparently inactive, he is now the undisputed king of the factions server.
Luigi9990 overtook me on the top posters, and for that I will never forgive him (JK) he is a good person and I look forward to him re-downloading skype. Pendar2 is the reason that I still have the will to play on this server, a mysterious guy to be sure, but still a good person with time for everyone, it is a good mental boost to know that someone trusts you with a high rank on a great server. Prodigy was a person I played with a lot last summer, always sensible, always hilarious, amazing builder.. It is a shame that Demacia had to go in the reset (purge.)
I only really started to know HughTK in the last week since he joined the 'LoL call', Alamo is an old player, the apprentice in the art of trolling a solid builder and someone with real success. Matt is another true veteran player who has rarely broken a single rule, good man.
Please note that I have not actually taken that much time on this thread, therefore I have not actually proof read this, so for that reason the writing may seem a little dodgy, normally I would spend a little more time on my pieces of writing.
Just to get this in here, here is my one year thread, 100% copy pasted into here:
On the 21st of July 2012 I joined mc.emenbeesmp.com.
Previously I had been jumping on servers, looking for somewhere, but nowhere with creative was organised, and Emenbee was the first multi-world multi-gamemode server. I started off playing on /warp creative, using the old creative plugin, iclaims. I often chatted to players such as masteroftroll89 as he sold items to people in the creative world. About 3 days in, as most players did, I bit the bullet and typed /warp survival. From here I asked to join a town, first I joined Drakkon, owned by dragonmaster347 (2vrsable today.) I should mention back then I used the account ArseneWengerboss. After a day in Drakkon, I decided to move out and burnt my old house down, I then joined ex-admin PenfieldDragon's town Aurum, meaning gold in Latin. Here I settled in for a few months. As Lenny became less active I moved out to join the, then biggest town. Here my modern age started (note I had attempted to make a town with CreeperJudd and Thrall855, but this failed, and last I checked, on the old map, pre-reset, thrall has been offline for about 11 months he never got on the server after that day.)
The town I joined, mentioned earlier was Rapture (the faction on the PvP server set the name up.) Rapture was owned by Rougenore, an Elite at the time. After a few successful weeks here I was invited by a great friend ReKd_SteveBoy to join the town he had brought from Epic_Pigz. Agra. Agra would soon become the first town with 100 players, I was an assistant here. But as I grew in success on the surface I had ulterior motives. CreeperJudd and I had discovered a death chest glitch which allowed for the duplication of diamonds. A thread I made also instigated a trusted rank being made, I was, let's say disappointed at being left out, I became reckless and nasty in my disappointment and I believe I started to lose friends and make friends with the darker characters of Emenbee. Thus, I began selling them to people, mostly dragonmaster. I became quite wealthy. After a couple more weeks CreeperJudd back stabbed me and sent a mail to fraser384, about the diamonds. TORNADOTOM50 asked me about it and I admitted to duplication. I then asked for a ban.
Most people, including me, thought this was the end. I had tried to play on other servers, but none were quite the same, none were quite as good. After 2 months of being banned, which ended in September I began to send mails to Dragonmaster and TORNADOTOM50. They were delighted and encouraged me to try and make a ban appeal. I knew that nobody else would be happy about the appeal, so I sent the first of my great essays to Pendar2. It must have been almost a thousand words long, he unbanned me, and on a record breaking night for the server I re-joined. It hadn't dhanged too much, the player count had gone from a maximum of 30 every night to 90 something on the evening of my return. I was re-introduced to the players, fraser who was now a mod, as was Irulez12, trusted had been renamed to JrMod. And luigi9990 who I had never previously met was a JrMod. ReKd told me to gain my assistant position back at Agra I would need to regain his trust, as I did. I then left and brought Nordhaffen, a legendary abandoned town. The town was too much of a challenge, lots of old protections, and griefed parts and I sold it on, not sure who to. I then joined dragonmaster347's town as assitant, I forgot the name of the town though. I then sent in the longest staff application of all time, over 1000 words, and claimed by pretty much everyone to be the best ever, it was rejected, after comments by TORNADOTOM50, Fraser384 and Rougenore. However on a night in which viveka, mamaknows, 7pr0digy and pyromasquerade were promoted I was left. However the next evening I received JrMod. Thus leading to a 'no caps' and 'no spam' dictatorship. At the time Darling58 was disappointed at now receiving JrMod, so I pledged to help her receive it. From here I began to push for her in new promotions. It succeeded.
After a few months of harmony cracks began to appear, I had started abusing logblock, as had viveka and others. Viveks was also being favored over most of the other mods. She was appointed SrMod (When I was promoted to JrMod, SrMod rank had just been created.) This caused Fraser to leave, ReKd_Steveboy and Dragonmaster and I and Irulez12 to react furiously. viveka began getting her friends promoted, they formed a posse, and treated others like dirt, they spawned and hacked and cheated. I can proudly say, I killed her and Pendar2 while they used spawned in armour! After many months of fighting and viv leaving calls and screaming for attention, Bgrowdy made a comment about her, unknowing she was online, she reacted badly, and she left. And she took her friends with her.
In the meantime Mamaknows had been demoted for causing ddos attacks, the server had been split into survival and creative servers. PvP was added later, all the rest much later. Much to my disbelief Rasdori and Eeryn were awarded op on both servers just for building, rasdori began to blame me for creative griefs, which they found out later to be caused by one of their most trusted mods. Irulez and I disagreed with the way he promoted, he promoted creative JrMods for building, and we told him that's not how promotions should work, leading to a ban on creative for all of us. I got in trouble for retaliating, mainly due to viveka.
A few days after viveka left, Bgrowdy Dragonmaster, Sienna Luigi and I were promoted to SrMod, to make up for the losses, TORNADOTOM50 had quit to start baycraft, which no longer exists. In real life, I had started rowing, realizing I'm suited to the sport, with height, strong shoulders and thighs I became keen to do rowing, having started in the 'D' crew I made my way up to the A crew, which is supposedly in the top 4 crews in the country, Oxford does a lot of rowing! And we're very successful. In the first few months back after my ban the server was reaching new hights, records every other weekend, but then when the survival and creative servers split the flow stopped. The previous player journey was: Join emenbee, go to creative, get bored of creative, go to the survival world. But then with seperate servers, when a player got bored of creative they did not know about survival and therefore left.
Before my promotion I had lead to Darling58 (partially) Rollinsjroll and alamo and more recently Cain and spongebob receiving JrMod, also I put in a word for alamo over at creative, and I have backed these people. I have become known for being a bad enemy, leading to many corrupt players leaving. I took up a leading roll on PvP, becoming an admin, and when that rank disappeared to to ranks being linked, received op.
I had made friends with DanNyan, on his second day when I muted someone who was abusing him, since I have also backed him for JrMod, and now Mod, Viveka and I agreed on him becoming JrMod (I know, miracles happen.)
For a while during and after the Emenbee drama I was very inactive, having fun in real life, getting stuff done, working out, improving as a person and generally getting my act together, the inactivity was a great freshening up break, it was pretty similar to the breaks taken by TORNADOTOM50 and Bgrowdyranger and 2vrsable, all in all it was a greet help since I was very bored of Minecraft, and after a few updates the game was there to be discovered again.
Now I mostly forum moderate (look how many posts I have) and play on KitPvP. Although not being respected totally by most people I do most of the dirty banning work, and telling people in staff when they do wrong via message, as sponge rollins and Dan discovered. I started using the account Sthamer on December 22nd, because ArseneWengerboss was a bad username chosen by a friend, and the account carries bad memories. After a rough 2 months with very few players on either server, we got it back on it's feet, with the survival reset, also the 1.6 update helped a lot, now we are setting records again, 3 days ago with 156 players, then we got to 170 the day afterwards. Sadlyafter my work was deleted in the map reset I have been unable to get myself to build a house, and I now just run around a moderate, nothing solid to work on. Too many memories, too little time and too much procrastination. Perhaps in my last few weeks I will be able to come up with something to do, I just joined Demacia and I hope I can make a lasting contribution to the town, which looks set to become the new Ockulous, with builds from the great 7pr0digy, bgrowdyranger and cozmicsmoker, I hope I can add something to the town!
Irulez enjoys my essays, which include, a ban appeal, a staff application, a how to catch xrayers essay, an apology on behalf of the staff (most viewed forum ever) a 'how to make a ban appeal' essay which is now in the 'need help' section of the ban appeals. I have made several changes to the forums, but some have been deleted, they included applications etc. Using some logblock commands which I made a video of, I started a huge ban xrayers period.
Before the map was reset I owned Ockulous (a legendary town made by Jidanbo and CozmicSmoker, and pixelart by Ahmmie, made mostly in survival mode, it was a huge and epic castle, which I miss in the new map, should I mention Cozmic also made the PvP server spawn )
I will leave in September because my time is at an end, I feel some others should step down too. Every government needs to change from time to time, and we run out of ideas. The main reason I am leaving is because I will board at my school, to wake up early for Rowing sessions, on a cold river we have to run 2 miles to get to-fun right?)

Mod_Masta, you're so neutral and logical it hurts, never fully biased, which is respectable, you may well be the nicest person on the server, as well as the most powerful.

Pendar2, I think it took a long time to get your respect, and I still doubt I have it, you're hard to get through to and never give anything away, we once had a talk which was useful. I wish you'd talk more often, because honestly you're a genius for making the server work so well, just please loosen up more. It's hard to act in a straight line when there's barely and praise or words when we do wrong, I respect it's a lot of work but I need feedback to work, I clearly don't work without it very well.
